YOU make it happen, no one else

YOU make it happen, no one else

Not only is this a key rule in SFI, but I consider this to be amongst THE most important lessons in life. NO ONE ELSE can make you successful. It's all up to you. YOU are the "master of your destiny" and responsible for your own success. Period.

Conversely, there's not anyone or anything that will make you a failure. It does no good to blame the economy, your education, or whatever bad breaks you've had in your life. Doing so means taking on a victim's mentality. DON'T EVER DO THIS. I can guarantee you that many thousands of people have succeeded despite having it much worse, so don't make excuses and don't convince yourself that you're somehow a victim.

And the grass isn't any greener on the other side either. You have now (or can acquire) everything you need to be successful. Just remember that it's up to you and nobody else. Then go out and do it.

You Make It Happen

Now, for those who might be thinking, "well, that's easy for you to say, Gery!"…the fact is, I've achieved what most people would say is extraordinary success, but it was not handed to me, not by any stretch. I come from a very small Nebraska town and very humble beginnings. When I started in business I had no business education, no experience, and no money to invest. And it took four long years (the first two moonlighting into the wee hours of the night while holding down a full-time job), before I ever saw a profit. I had no mentors, no great upline leaders or sponsors to guide me, nor any wealthy relatives to come to my aid. But I decided I was going to become successful and I did. And I've put in the work every day for nearly 25 years now to stay successful.

So...it's not your sponsor. It's not your upline. It's not the economy. It's not the government. It's not the compensation plan. It's not any of these things or any other obstacles perceived to be in your way. If you want to become successful, you can go around the obstacles, go over, go under, or go right through them. Success is yours if you want it, but ONLY YOU control this. Always remember: "If it's to be, it's up to me."

Examining The Online Internet Business Opportunity

Examining The Online Internet Business Opportunity:

The biggest question that online internet business opportunity seekers have goes something like this "How can I tell if this is a legitimate offer or not?"

So first off, let's just set you straight on one thing. Yes, you can make a full-time living (and up to much more) working from home at your own business. In order to develop a profitable business, you want to build it around your skills and interests. It can take a lot of time to make a significant amount of money but all you need to get started is a computer with reliable high-speed internet access. There are so many different opportunities online but you only need to master a few to be able to go into business for yourself helping others.

Another type of online internet business opportunity offers legitimate products to sell. But many of the companies that promote these opportunities exaggerate the income potential and understate the amount of time, effort, marketing dollars and skills needed to turn the opportunity into a profit-making business.

So you want to make sure that you investigate a business opportunity thoroughly before making a decision, especially if it requires a large investment. By investigating thoroughly, I mean learn all you can about the type of business and the company selling the opportunity. Do your own research. Do not rely soley on "facts"  or testimonials presented in the company's sales literature.

Ask yourself some of the following questions and look for the answers:

Who will buy the product or service?
How much will your target market pay for the product or service?
How much will it cost you to find customers and how long will it take?
How much profit will you make for each sale?
How many products or services will you have to sell to pay back the cost of buying into the opportunity?
What technical knowledge do you really need to make money in this field of business?

This is very important . . .What kind of reputation does the company selling the opportunity have. Find out if they've had complaints filed against them and, if so, how they were dealt with. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) web site can help with this at http://www.ftc.gov. Call the District Attorney's office and the Better Business Bureau in the city the opportunity company is located in and ask what information they have about the company. This is why I have the three listed as "My Best BizOp Sites" listed in the margin on the right of this page.

If you can, talk to other people who have already bought the opportunity and ask them for feedback. Remember that information is power - the more you can find out, the better decision you will be able to make. And once you do have all your answers, you will be very excited to join an opportunity that fits everything you are looking for!

And last but not least, take your time before making a final decision. Make sure that your future online internet business opportunity fits your budget, your personal work habits, likes and dislikes and your skills.

How to invest now for future profits

Subject: How to invest now for future profits
From: John Dilbeck
NORTH CAROLINA USA

I've owned several businesses over the last 30 years, and I've learned what it takes to build a business that earns a profit. So, I understand that I have to invest work, time, and money now in order to get a future, larger return. It doesn't always work, but I've been successful more often than not.

That said, I think it is unrealistic to expect someone with no knowledge of marketing, advertising, and building a business to "get" the SFI opportunity quickly. A great resource for these new business owners (or experienced business owners, for that matter) is Cashflow Quadrant, by Robert Kiyosaki. It helped me.

When I read it a couple of years ago, I started understanding the huge differences between the left side of Kiyosaki's quadrant (employee and self-employed) and the right side of the quadrant (business owner and investor).
Employees and self-employed people trade time for money on a more or less static ratio that only changes if they get a raise, charge more per hour or per project, or find a way to reduce expenses. If you work, you earn a certain amount, generally several dollars per hour.

On the other hand, business owners and investors learn how to concentrate their efforts and money up front, receiving a larger return in the future as their investments are leveraged and compounded.
For example, as the owner of a marketing business run almost entirely online, I'm earning money for things I did last week, last month, and even several years ago, because I invested the time, effort, and money over time in the past. As a result, today I have several income streams that provide 100% of my income, letting me work from a cabin in the mountains about 100 miles from the nearest traffic jam. I really do earn while I sleep!

The patience required to keep building and looking for potential comes from my experience of building and owning past businesses and watching, over time, as my income from my marketing business continues to grow. Without that experience and an ever-changing mindset, I would have bailed out a long time ago because I didn't see the big picture and couldn't understand the potential.

As SFI sponsors, our challenge is to find a way to pass along some of this knowledge and experience to our affiliates who have a dream of building a home business but lack the knowledge and skills to make it happen—joining SFI and promoting TripleClicks comes darn close.

You also have to have faith and hope that your efforts will be rewarded. I decided that my marketing business won't fail. It has to succeed because that is the only outcome I will accept. That gives me the fortitude to weather problems and find ways around obstacles that would have otherwise defeated me several times over the last few years. In fact, I now earn more in one month than I did in my first two years, and it continues to grow. There are occasional downturns and some really horrible months now and then, but overall, the trend is upward.

Most importantly: act on your dream, and pass your enthusiasm on to others! Try it now, the link is at the top or bottom of this blog as a banner.

Alternative To Social Networking Google Social Networking

Alternative To Social Networking Google Social Networking:

These days, Google seems to have its hand in every aspect and facet of the internet. While Google previously did not have anything to do with social networking, but now they are building a presence in the social networking arena as well. Soon, google social networking will be the standard for social networking, as Google has become the standard for many things, including searching through search engines, paid advertising, e-mail, calendar and even web applications and web documents.

We all are aware that social networking websites are beginning to take over the world, at least online. The big social networking websites like Facebook and MySpace are excellent places where people can connect to other people and even market their companies and reach new customers. There are millions of people using these social networking sites, and businesses are beginning to use them as well. Leveraging a social networking site to its fullest potential is a great way for a business to reach out to new target markets and garner larger customer bases.

Just when you thought that the community networking thing may have completely reached its maximum threshold, Google social networking shows up at the party with a completely new project. Google has shown up at the party with a social networking site of its very own, one that is known as Orkut. Orkut may be a strange word, but it is appearing to be a serious contender when it comes to comparing Orkut to other social network websites on the internet.

Orkut has already gained a serious amount of popularity in Latin America and in Asia, and now it is beginning to make a splash in the United States as well. Google social networking is trying to become a very large giant online, and dominating the social networking market is one of the ways that this can be achieved. They want their own piece of a pie that MySpace and Facebook have been capitalizing on for a good long time. The following behind Orkut in China and Japan alone has tripled over the past year to include more than 11 million visitors in a single month.

Time is really going to have to tell when it comes to whether or not Google's Orkut will get as big as the other social networking giants like Facebook and MySpace in the United States. What is known is that Google does have a good idea of what they are doing, and they have proven themselves to be strong players in a lot of very large markets.

If Google can figure out how to offer more than what the other social networking sites are offering, then they can certainly get in on the action that these other social networking sites are already capitalizing on. If you are not already using Orkut by Google, log into your Google account today and check it out. You are already halfway through the registration process if you have a Gmail account or another account with Google, so jump online and start putting your profile together today for Google Social Networking.

Mobile Blogging is on the Cutting Edge

Mobile Blogging is on the Cutting Edge:

Mobile blogging is an exciting phenomenon that is
sweeping the blogosphere. One of the reasons why a lot
of bloggers are attracted to the medium of blogging in
the first place is that they enjoy being able to make
frequent updates and posts that keep all of their visitors
up to speed with current situations. Mobile blogs, or
"moblogs," take this to the extreme by allowing users to
post things literally as they happen. This new wave of
moblogs and mobloggers keep web surfers up to date
with good and bad events of importance as they occur
all over the world, helping to make international
communication faster and more accurate.

Many people feel that the limitations of blogging have a
lot to do with geography. After all, there is only so
current that a blog can be when you need to run home
and boot up in order to update it. However, mobile
blogging marks the beginning of an thrilling new era
when web-based communication can happen
spontaneously from any location. Moblogging devices
mean that there is almost nowhere on the planet that
remains off-limits for bloggers.

Mobile blogging is still in its infancy because the
technology that makes it possible has only recently hit
the global market. The first moblog technology became
available over a decade ago, but it is only the past two
or three years that mobile web devices have become
user-friendly enough to appeal to most consumers. As
camera phones and other mobile technology become
more popular, more and more bloggers are getting away
from their desks and are hitting the streets. Moblogging
is becoming much more widespread that it was even a
few months ago, and mobloggers are quickly attracting
a lot of attention with the blogging community. It is not
yet clear whether moblogs will become the dominant
kinds of blogs in the years to come, but the current
trend seems to imply that moblogs are here to stay.

Mobile devices make it possible to blog from the sites
where current events are unfolding, which is one of the
reasons why mobile blogging has so much thrilling
potential to revolutionize the blogosphere. A moblogger
with a camera phone can post blog entries from, say, the
foot of the podium at a presidential speech, or from the
stands during the final moments of the world series.
This enables bloggers to experience the same real time
thrills that live television coverage provides, but in a
more democratic medium. The combination of mobility
and individual control that moblogging provides
certainly places mobloggers on the cutting edge of
today's communications technology, and it is hard to
imagine that the number and prestige of moblogs will
not continue to grow in the coming years.

Are You Failing To Make Money Online?

The Real Reason So Many People Fail To Make Money Online

There are limitless tales of professionals leaving their jobs forever to pursue their dreams of self-employment. Unfortunately, a number of people are not able to make their visions pan out. They try hard to get their new endeavors off the ground, but these do not produce sufficient profits for covering their life expenses. In order to avoid utter financial destitution, these individuals must hang up their proverbial hats and their dreams in order to again pursue conventional forms of employment. You might assume that this is because the available opportunities are simply not lucrative enough for any long-term success. The real reason so many people fail to make money online, however, is quite a bit more complex.

This problem generally starts with a failure to plan these endeavors out fully. Most consumers know that there are a wealth of ways to promote products, services and ideas on the web, but they are not diligent in their efforts to define which of these things they will offer and who they will target. Without a well-defined market and something desirable to offer, no business can become or remain stable.

Another common issue that often leads to failure in self-employment is an unwillingness to implement an appropriate schedule. Home workers are so relieved to be away from the drudgery of their daily jobs, that they do not create any structured plans for their self-employment endeavors. When you are your own boss, however, you will not be receiving an hourly wage. Your profits will be based upon production and your ability to offload whatever it is that you produce.

Investing in products or ideas that do not generate adequate attention is a common mistake as well. If a targeted market does not want or need what a company has to provide, these things will either expire or simply lose their relevance before any considerable profits are generated. Thus, all or nearly all start-ups costs will register as a loss. This is how people wind up deeply in debt after trying unsuccessfully to start a home business.

Understanding the real reason so many people fail to make money online will help you to be more successful in your own efforts to become self-employed. Creating a feasible business plan, adopting a dedicated work schedule and choosing the right products, services or information to supply will make a world of difference. With an active and interested market it is possible for people to maximize their earnings potential.

How To Get White Listed

Get White Listed:

Handling spam is not something that is a mystery to anyone who uses email regularly.  It is almost out of the question for anyone to operate a computer on the internet and not have some form of spam protection software working to catch bad emails and delete them or trap them to a quarantine folder.  But if you have worked with any of the popular spam protection software packages, you know those services have to be "trained" to know what is spam and what is not.

Probably the most common method for determining spam is by email address.  So when you installed your spam protection software, the first thing it will do is import your address book and build a list of email addresses that you will allow into your inbox without question.  This favored contacts list is one you will manage and update regularly as you add new contacts both personal and professional.

From a merchant perspective, one of the most prized lists that online retailer can hope to get on is the customers favored user list.  This is because once a customer flags an online merchant that they are allowed to send the customer emails without question, that customer becomes an A-list candidate for specials, discounts, special sales and other marketing methods that the online merchant may use to encourage sales.

From a retailer point of view then, one of the top methods for avoiding email delivery problems is to "get white listed" by your customers so you can exchange emails with them freely and often.  The theory behind how to get white listed is not complicated but the methods can get pretty creative.  The theory is very simple. You have to make the customer want to see your emails.  How to do that opens up all kinds of marketing ploys to appeal to the customer to invite you into your email inbox as often as you wish to show up.

The first opportunity you have to entice the customer to add you to their favored contacts list is when you do an email verification of membership when they first sign on to be a regular part of your web site "community".  But event then, one rule applies universally for how to get customers to want to see your emails.  You have to convince them that there is something in it for them.

To create value that you will deliver to the customer's email box from time to time, you just have to know what the customer wants. Discounts and coupons are very popular items that customers will often seek out.   When the customer opts in to become a part of your web site community, you can take that opportunity to solicit the customer about special offers, discounts and coupons.  Few of us can resist a good deal so when the customer signs on to get those offers, that is the time to remind them that all they have to do is add you to their favored contacts list in their spam software to make sure those "once in a lifestyle" deals don't go into the spam graveyard on their computer.

Other "goodies" you can use to entice customers to add you to their favored contacts list are newsletters, autoresponder courses, ezines and give aways.  If you notice a customer is a regular contributor to one of the blogs on your web site, offer to email to him or her each new blog entry.  To see the latest ramblings on that blog, that customer will eagerly add the email address to their favored contacts list and you have accomplished your goal.

Now every one of these marketing tools we have mentioned have additional sales potential in them as well.  Newsletters that deliver regular entertainment and education to your customers also can carry advertising for your products or advertising that other merchants pay to include in your newsletter.  Many online merchants have developed a large secondary income source when their newsletter became suddenly very popular with a large circulation.  So put some work into these marketing tools because they could take your business in an entirely new direction.

Blogging on a Social Network

Blogging on a Social Network:

Blogging is becoming increasingly popular and social networks are also becoming more and more popular as well. Social networks include popular websites such as MySpace.com where users can create personal websites and interact with other users. These websites may include a wide range of components including text, images, audio, video and blogs. Here system users can voice their opinions, provided updates on their life, offer insight into current events or accomplish a number of other goals. However, bloggers who utilize a social network to maintain their blog should consider a few different factors. This article will discuss some of these factors including whether to make the blogs available to the public or keep the private, considering the audience of the blog and dealing with harassment through the blog.

Making Blogs Private or Public

Most social networks enable users to make their website either private or public. Private websites are only available to the user and other users he specifically approves to view his website while public websites are available to all users of the system. These same capabilities also apply to the blogs which are maintained on a social network. For this reason bloggers must determine whether or not they wish to make their blog posts available to the entire social network or to only a fraction of this network.
This decision will be largely based on a matter of personal preference. Social networks can be quite extensive and some bloggers may be apprehensive about their blog being available to such a large audience while other bloggers may have no apprehensions about the size of the potential audience. Bloggers should carefully consider this option before staring a blog but always have the option to change these settings after the blog has been established if they change their mind about the choice they originally made.

Considering the Blog Audience

Bloggers who utilize a social network to maintain a blog should also carefully consider the potential audience for the blog. Most social networks include a broad cross section of the general public. Therefore bloggers should be aware of this audience when posting a blog and should consider how the blog entries will be interpreted by blog audience members. While it will never be possible to avoid offending all potential audience members some bloggers may wish to consider at least attempting to ensure the blog entries they post are appropriate for all members of the social network. If this is not possible the blogger may consider making the blog private.

Dealing with Harassment through the Blog

Another aspect bloggers who use a social network to publish their blog should be aware of includes the potential for harassment from other members through the blog. This can be in the form of offensive comments posted in response to blog entries. Depending on the degree of the harassment the blogger may choose to ignore these comments or take stronger actions. Bloggers should review the policies of the social network and solicit their assistance in dealing with harassment from other users. In most cases dealing with the problem may be as simple as blocking the user from making comments on the blog but in some cases it may be necessary to contact the social network administrators in an attempt to get the user banned from the system. In this situation the administrators will review the situation and make a judgment regarding whether or not the user has violated the terms of service.

Little Known Ways To Make Qucik Money Online

Little Known Ways To Make Quick Money Online:

So, you don't just want to make money online. . .you need to make quick money online! You don't have the time to read some e-book or the money to join any systems or programs. You need money. . .and fast. Here are just a few ideas that you can turn to if you're truly desperate. . .

Something like an online yardsale, CraigsList is a great internet site for buying and selling almost anything legal -- housewares, bikes, furniture, musical equipment, art, and and anything that you may even consider junk. Over 40 million people use CraigsList every month. It's free and localized, so you shouldn't have to worry about shipping anything.

Read emails and take online surveys:

Some companies receive thousands of emails every day that need to be read. And some of them actually outsource the reading of these emails as well as other tedious, time consuming chores such as product testing, online surveys, online mystery shopping, etc. You can sign up and get paid on a per assignment completed basis. The pay varies by what type of assignment you choose and you can choose where you want to make money.

Get serious about Ebay.

There are just so many ways to make quick money online with Ebay. You can buy stuff at garage sales or Estate auctions and turn around and sell it for a profit on Ebay. You must have a good idea what something is worth in order for this to work. You can sell your own things or make things to sell. The possibilities with Ebay are limitless.

Sell your images.

You can actually sell non-professional images to a number of different sites that need stock photos. All you need to do is make sure that the image isn't vulgar and doesn't include any brand names or famous people. Be creative. . .you'd be surprised what sort of images people are looking for. iStockphoto, it is one of the most popular sites. Big Stock Photo is huge with more than 1.5 million images available. Dreamstime is also a top player in this industry - they pay photographers 50 – 60% of the amount of each photograph sold. Shutterstock is subscription-based and offers more than 2.5 million images for sale.

Become a Freelance Writer.

This may intimidate a lot of people but it's really easier than you might think. In fact, it's probably better if you're not a "professional" writer since people want to read things from other "real" people! You can sell your articles at the marketplaces of certain forums like DigitalPoint and SitePoint. Don't expect to make a killing here but you can make some extra cash and you can do it very quickly. There are many more opportunities for writers online, such as Freelance Home Writers, which is a job board where you can log in to see what kind of Writing Jobs are available and possibly, how much they pay.

These are some of the easiest and most immediate ways that you can make quick money online.

Make Money Scams Vs Make Money Legitimate Opportunities

Make Money Scams Vs Make Money Legitimate Opportunities:

Are you worried that the earning opportunities you see online are really "make money scams" in disguise? Most of what you'll find online is on the up and up. The real challenge is weeding through it all to find something that works for you. Here are some common money making scams that many online marketing newcomers can fall into.

Get Rich Quick:

A lot of experts in internet marketing use their stories as proof of what you can do too if you buy their products or services. And while it is probably true that these marketers did make an enormous amount of money very quickly, there are 3 things you should understand about that;

1) They probably were not completely new to the industry when they started making the money. ..

2) They might have used some other methods or programs to earn them this amount of money (so they might not be revealing everything in what they sell to you...

3) They may have also spent a huge amount of money to be able to earn this enormous amount of money. While the products and/or services are most likely valuable and legitimate, you should not expect them to make you rich quick.

Easy Money Making:

There are quite a few automated systems out there. And yes, they are real and yes, they are easy. But they can also be expensive and not incredibly effective since they appeal to so many people that are trying to go the easy route. The truth is that making money online doesn't have to be complicated - it can be simple - but getting results does require effort.

Most people start out on the wrong foot with systems that claim to to be easy and profitable. When they aren't very easy or profitable, it's easy to give up and deem these systems "make money scams".

Pyramid Schemes:

There are many types of legitimate programs (like network marketing or MLM businesses) that offer you commissions if you recruit others into the business. However, if you come across a program that only offers you money if you recruit other members but offers no real product or service, this is a clear-cut pyramid scheme and scam. Luckily, the FTC is quick to crack down on these types of activities so you shouldn't run across them too often.

Pay Affiliate Programs:

Some affiliate program claim that they can make you lots of money, but require you to purchase their product or charge a sign up fee before you can start promoting what they offer. Keep in mind that you do not have to pay for an affiliate product to promote it (although there are reasons you might want to do that). Most affiliate product and service owners will NEVER ask their affiliate to pay money before they earn.

The Better Business Bureau and Federal Trade Commission offer more information about avoiding rip-offs, plus ways to verify offers and file complaints. Your state attorney general's office might also have specific or general information about make money scams.

Overnight Success....NOT!

Overnight success...NOT!
Today we're going to talk about having big goals...but REALISTIC goals. SFI holds tremendous potential for those who will apply themselves, but it's not going to Successhappen overnight or without work. As the old saying goes, "the only place that success comes before work is in the dictionary."
We often hear from affiliates asking why they're not seeing a big commission check yet. But more times than not, the person asking hasn’t even been an affiliate for more than a few weeks and is only really beginning to even understand how the whole SFI system works. And frankly, even if the number was six months, it’s still much too early to be expecting a significant income stream to have developed.
We always say that if you’re not willing to give a business at least a year, don’t even bother getting involved. You must understand: It takes time to get to know all the nuances of a business. It takes time to get to know the products. It takes time to develop a game plan. It takes time to figure out what marketing activities will work best for you.
The fact is, anything worthwhile takes sustained effort. If that were not true, we'd all be the perfect weight, we'd all have perfect relationships, etc. It's the same thing with your own business. If you're thinking money's going to start pouring into your lap next month, you’ve set yourself up for failure.
But let’s look at some real examples and see if we can put some perspective on this. Let's start with SFI's own president and founder, Gery Carson. Gery explains:
Gery Carson"My success as a entrepreneur and business leader is widely known today. Yet what most people don’t know is that I LOST money my first two years. I only broke even in my third year. And it was only when I got to my fourth year did I finally start seeing profits. Oh, how I wish someone had invented an SFI for me back in the mid-80's when I was starting out! ; - )
So was all that effort worth it? ABSOLUTELY! Because I persisted, today I live a dream life, I have my dream home, drive my dream car, and I get to lead one of the most exciting Internet companies in the world. Yes, because I stuck with it, I am today truly blessed beyond my wildest dreams."
But let’s go farther. Let’s look at some of the actual home business superstars we've interviewed and featured on our Website in the past:
Note that amounts listed reflect declared earnings at the time their interview was published.
ROBERT BLACKMAN now earns as much as $85,000 per month. Yet it took Robert two years to see his first four-figure check ($1,000 or more), and it took him five years to see his first five-figure check ($10,000 or more).
CHARLES LESLIE’s monthly income exceeds $12,000 a month. It took Charles five months to see his first $1,000 check, and three and a half years to see his first $10,000 check.
TRACY DIETERICH earns $36,000+ monthly. But it took six months to hit that first $1,000, and a year to get to $10,000.
DALE CALVERT makes so much more than $100,000 a year that he won’t even divulge the amount. Yet Dale worked four months before seeing that first four-figure commission check...and two full years before hitting five figures.
DR. JOE RUBINO now cruises at over $62,000 each month. But that first $1,000 check took two months, the first $10,000 check, one year.
ROBERT BUTWIN drops $80,000 or more into his bank account each month. But would you believe that first $1,000 check took two years to reach, and a full FIVE years for Robert to reach the first $10,000 check? It’s true!
DAVID A. NELSON clears $40,000 in a month. But reaching that first $1,000 check took 18 months. Reaching the five-figure check took two years.
TONY KENT has exceeded $90,000 in monthly earnings. But exceeding $1,000 took Tony one year...and a year and a half to exceed $10,000.
In other words, even the most dynamic, highest-earning entrepreneurs took MONTHS to begin seeing an income of any real significance. And the real wealth, the $100,000+ income we all strive for, took an average of almost THREE YEARS to achieve!
Do you think ANY of these gentlemen don’t think the ends justified the means? Do you think for an instant that the months and years invested hasn’t been rewarded a thousand times over at least? You don't even have to think about it, do you?
SuccessIf we told you that after two to three years of following our system, you could be making more in a month than you now make in a year, could you handle that? This is a genuine and realistic goal. But when you say you want to quit your job in six months and live off the income from your new business, well, that's just not realistic.
Not what you wanted to hear, right? But is what we're suggesting so tough to swallow? Of course not.
Can you think of any other endeavor where you could invest just five to 10 hours a week for a couple years and at the end of that time have that turned into a $3,000 to $10,000 residual monthly income stream? Money that keeps coming in month after month, year after year. Money that keeps coming in whether you work 10 hours a day or two. A commission check waiting for you in your mailbox when you return from yet another vacation. Money that when you’ve left this planet continues to provide for your spouse, children, or grandchildren.
Sounds extremely nice, doesn’t it? But again, these are likely not things you’re going to see in your first year. It's just not going to happen. Some of you—the go-getters—you WILL see it happen in your second year. For most of you, however, you need to be thinking two to five years. And you know what? When you get there, we guarantee you, you’ll say it was nothing!
You can do it
BOTTOM LINE: We reap what we sow, but the harvest is never in the same season as the planting! Today you are planting...and will be at least for the next several months. Your harvest will come in time. Be persistent. Be patient. Work the Web using our proven SFI system. Think long term. Take action every day, (no matter how small) to build your business. And always remember, THE ONLY WAY TO FAIL IS TO QUIT.

Dispelling An SFI Myth

Dispelling An SFI Myth
A special message from SFI President & Founder, Gery Carson
One of the biggest misconceptions about SFI is that there is a monthly fee or purchase requirement.

This is, of course, completely FALSE.

There is NEVER any cost to be an affiliate. And you can earn VersaPoints and corresponding benefits, perks, and payouts through a variety of actions. Yes, thousands of SFI affiliates DO purchase SFI products for themselves. It only makes sense, after all, to buy from TripleClicks.com, "your own store"—especially those items that you are already purchasing from someone else (more on this in a moment). However, this is TOTALLY OPTIONAL.

The best way to accumulate VersaPoints and attain Executive Affiliate rank is to generate 1,500 SVP instantly via a purchase at the TripleClicks store...OR...without any personal purchases by taking the actions outlined in the Getting Started, BASICS, or LAUNCHPAD sections.

In fact, SFI has a wide variety of products available with varying VersaPoint totals attached for you to offer your customers and prospective affiliates. As few as one customer sale a month can get you to Executive Affiliate rank each month!
How do you make these sales? The easiest way is to check out the numerous strategies outlined at theMember Referral Methods page.

By the way, each time one of your TC customers or one of your PSAs places an order at TripleClicks.com, you earn 45% of the CV. PLUS...as an Executive Affiliate, you'll earn shares from the TripleClicks Executive Pool, become eligible for Co-Sponsor Commissions and ECA Royalties, pick up free TripleClicks TCredits, get co-sponsored affiliates added to your team each month, and more! For a list of ALL benefits you'll get from accumulating VersaPoints.

BUYING FROM TRIPLECLICKS.COM, YOUR OWN STORE

As an SFI affiliate, you are essentially a partner of SFI's. You truly need to think of the SFI product line as YOUR product line. Hence, it only makes sense that when you buy products and services, you always shop your own store first.
If you owned a bakery, I'm certain you wouldn't be buying cinnamon rolls from Winchell's Donuts down the street. If you owned a Ford dealership, I'm betting you wouldn't even think about buying a Chevy across town.

It's the exact same thing with SFI. Especially when it comes to products you're ALREADY buying. "Your store" almost certainly carries several products or services that you ALREADY purchase from a local store or other service provider. Why not transfer those purchases...to YOUR store?
Remember, we're not talking about spending extra money, just changing where you're buying it from.
In doing so, you're taking action that supports the growth of your SFI business and the businesses of your entire team.

Additionally, your upline leaders (your Sponsor and Team Leaders) earn commissions each time you buy from your SFI store. And while that may not excite you right now, it surely will when later you have your own team of hundreds or thousands of affiliates and you're earning commissions on every purchase they make!
So where do you go when you're ready to shop your store? Just head over to TripleClicks.com—YOUR store.

12 Secrets To Website Success

Are you finally getting around to getting a website set up for your company? Or, are you ready to have your existing website redesigned because you're unhappy with the way it looks or performs?
If so, you'll want the new website to be successful. In fact, as more and more business and consumers research and make purchases online, a successful website is critical to the success of your business. So, what can you do to make the new website successful? And how can you build a successful website on a small business budget?
Here are twelve secrets to website success. I know they work because I've used them to build BusinessKnowHow.com into a website that reaches 2.5 to 3 million unique individuals a year. And, I've done it the way most of you build your businesses - on my own nickel.

  1. Have specific goals for your website.
  2. Know your customer or site visitors and what they want to get out of your site.
  3. Have pages dedicated to specific items or subjects the customer or site visitor is looking for.
  4. Don't make the home page of your site a "flash" animation. Web visitors routinely skip those animations (or just leave) because they aren't interested in pretty graphics. They want facts. If you're going to use flash to demonstrate your product (or a video) let people choose to view it, don't force them to.
  5. Make it easy for visitors to find what they want. Use a simple navigation structure, and if you absolutely must use drop down menus, make sure visitors can actually click on the links without the drop down rolling up before the person hits the link they want.
  6. If you're selling products, have category pages plus individual pages for each type of product. (For example, if you are selling jewelry, have one page for earrings with links to individual pages for different types of earrings, such as diamond earrings, ruby earrings, pearl earrings, etc.)
  7. Pay attention to search engine optimization (SEO) in setting up pages. The more closely the page title, page description, and keywords match what someone would search for, the more likely they'll find the website, and the more likely they'll buy whatever product is advertised on the page.
  8. Have a means for legally and ethically capturing visitors' email addresses so you can contact them in the future.
  9. Plan to advertise and market your site on an ongoing basis through all methods available to you.
  10. Track and measure traffic, bounce rates, sales conversions and progress.
  11. Ask for feedback from site visitors.
  12. Stay in contact with site visitors (those who gave you their email addresses) on a regular basis so they remember to come back to your website.

Working Smarter Not Harder And Earning More Money Online

Working Smarter Not Harder And Earning More Money Online:

Some people think that self-employment is not all that it is cracked up to be.  Sadly, a number of these same individuals are simply not managing their time wisely and are failing to use the best possible resources for marketing their endeavors.  Working smarter not harder and earning more money online is actually very easy.  Even an average income opportunity can produce amazing results if the right strategies are implemented.

Go For Value Over Quantity

Irrespective of the industry that you are working in, it is important to make value a much higher priority than quantity.  When it comes to working smarter not harder and earning more money online, value always trumps quantity.  This can be easily seen in the network marketing industry where distributors make the most money by signing other people up to sell beneath them.  Although having a large quantity of distributors helping you earn commissions might seem like the ideal, it is often better to have a few dedicated and successful sellers on your team who are capable of producing the right results.

In this instance, you can get more value from your efforts to build your business by choosing to carefully screen prospects.  This will allow you to pinpoint the professionals who are serious about making money.  It is also vital to share effective selling strategies and platforms with these people.  By fostering the success of the distributors that you have already signed on, you will actually be fostering your own success as well.  This doesn't mean that you should stop your outreach.  Instead, make sure that you have a good balance between converting prospects and promoting the success of the people who have invested in the company through you.

Rely On Inbound Marketing Methods

Outbound marketing methods are tried and true and no one can deny the value of high-quality promotional materials.  Unfortunately, however, many of these efforts are costly and they do not always generate sufficient returns for justifying their costs.  More often than not, they also require you to contact a lot of people who are either not interested or aren't qualified to pursue what you have to offer.

With inbound marketing techniques, however, it becomes possible to draw more interested and qualified prospects to you.  This is accomplished by creating an online sales platform, optimizing it for search engines and making your web pages, blogs and other outreach materials rich with keywords that will lure people in.  These are all marketing efforts that will work around the clock.  Inbound marketing will also free you from geographic limitations.  Rather than reaching out to the people in your local area that you can connect with physically, you can start presenting your network marketing opportunities or other opportunities to the world through virtual platforms.

Internet Marketing Is 24/7, Not A One-Time Stunt

Internet Marketing I24/7Not A One-Time Stunt

An oft-stated principle of Internet Marketing and Social Media Marketing is that it is not a one time stunt—it is a 24/7 endeavor. As we have discussed earlier in this course, you can profit indefinitely from the things that you build. But, that does not mean you can just create a Website and some social media profiles and then leave them to work by themselves. Nothing you build, no matter how clever, will work without your continued attention.

You may have very limited time. You may have a full-time job—perhaps even two jobs. You may have family responsibilities. As grand as it would be if we could, we simply cannot create extra hours in the day. Thus, it is understandable that you cannot devote 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to your Internet Marketing, no matter how promising the future might be if you could. What you can do, though, is care about your Internet Marketing 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can be mindful of it. You can ensure that you do carve out as much time as possible to devote to it.

Your goal is social media is to create conversations. Online conversations are understood to have pauses, no one is expected to be online all the time. But, conversations must have some steady flow or they will dry up. However limited your time may be, make enough time to keep the flow of your conversations as steady as possible. Do your best to respond to everything, even if it takes some time for you to get to it.

The most frequently made mistake in Internet Marketing, from my observations, is that someone will put a great deal of effort into creating a Website and setting up social media pages and then just ignore it, expecting it to work on its own. What you are creating when you create a Website and social media pages is a vehicle, a vehicle that must then be driven before it can go anywhere. You can build the greatest car in the world, but you go nowhere in it unless you crank it up and attentively drive it somewhere. You can take breaks and pauses in your trip, but you have to get back in again soon and keep driving in order to reach your destination.

IYou Think You're Done Creating Content, Start OptimizingContent

The platitude, "if you think you're done creating content, start optimizing content', which follows from our discussion above, is expressed various ways. It is just another way of reminding Internet Marketers that the job is never done. There are times when we all feel that we have just said all there is to say for now. We feel we have worked hard and have covered everything that needs to be covered in our Website and our social media pages. When you have that feeling, start optimizing your content on the same regular schedule that you used to create your content.

You can optimize your content in a number of ways. First, you can review the language you used in your content and ask yourself if it could be more clearly expressed. Could you say the same thing is less words? Could you say it in a more understandable way? Are there 'power words' you can use to replace some of the bland words you have used in your content? Is there some better way to say essentially the same thing, but with much more impact? You can always find something to improve in your content. Often, those little improvements can make a big difference.

Always Respond

"Always Respond" is a very concise way of expressing the principle that we have been discussing as it applies to social media. You do not have to respond right away— although it is better if you do—but do always respond to every legitimate communication you receive through your Website or social media pages, regardless of how long it takes you to do so.
In polite conversation among friends, it may not be the best thing to always have the last word. In marketing, though, if you do it thoughtfully, it is good to always send the last communication. This way, you are always acknowledging that you have been contacted. Even if the last correspondence you received concluded all business at hand, it is still good to acknowledge that communication and let your contact know that you are available the next time they need to communicate with you.

Don't Try TBClever, BClever

We discussed being clever in your social media posts just a few lessons back. It is mentioned again here because it appeared regularly in the recent articles I reviewed. It is worth repeating that being clever only works when there is a surprise and an intelligent point is made. If you try and fail, it falls flat. If possible, have a business associate, friend, or family member review your posts that are intended to be clever and see if they have the expected reaction. If not, perhaps you should rethink the post. It takes a little extra effort to be clever and creative, rather than bland in your communications, but that extra effort pays off.

Not Everything Will Work And That's Fine

On the other hand, if you do try and fail, it is not the end of the world. Do not let the fear of failure paralyze you. Some of your posts will work. Some will not. Some of your Web campaigns will work. Some will not. Study the ones that do work and study the ones that do not work. Try to ascertain what is common among the ones that do work and what is common among the ones that do not work. If you observe your results carefully, you should be able to improve the percentage of your efforts that do pay off.

Conclusion

To have success in Internet Marketing, you must really stick with it. While you may not be able to make it a 24/7 activity, you can make it a 24/7 concern. Always being mindful of your Internet Marketing efforts will help you to find more time to make them work. Any time you have the feeling that you're done for now, focus on trying to optimize what you have done. You can always find ways to improve things and little improvements often make a big difference in outcomes. In social media, always keep the conversations going and always respond to communications, even if it takes you a while to get to everything. Every communication to which you fail to respond may be a lost opportunity. Be clever, at least at times, in your communications and responses. Because failed attempts to be clever can be harmful, have someone review your efforts before you post them. Sometimes your efforts will fail despite the thoughtfulness and cleverness you apply to them. That's OK. Observing what works and what doesn't work, will help you apply your efforts more efficiently in the future.

MLM Marketing and Recruiting Pointers

MLM Marketing and Recruiting Pointers:

In multi level marketing (MLM), relationship marketing if used properly, ensures you enroll loyal team members, and keep them.  They duplicate your efforts.  Article marketing is smart marketing. YOU provide articles you've written to other Web sites, blogs and eZines for free. This establishes you as an expert, give you leads, increased site traffic and improved search engine rankings.

Blogging and SEO (search engine optimization) are two other tools.  Blogging provides an arena to combine text, images, links to other blogs, and web pages. About what?  You and your business. SEO in this instance, refers to understanding what human visitors might search for, and to help match those visitors with sites offering what they want to find.  In order to use any of these marketing tools successfully, it's important to work with the right people.  People who can help you build your business.

So, who can help you build your business? Let's take a reverse look at recruiting!  Everyone knows you need to recruit lots of people for your downline, to make your online business a success, to ensure a good income.  Notice the term good, or qualified, or partner wasn't mentioned.  That's because the current recruiting philosophy doesn't take into consideration anything else other than the fact you need warm bodies.  Bad MLM move and an even worse move for your online business success.  Why?

If you don't take the time to properly qualify prospects – you can expect them to a) perform badly b) drop out quickly c) not perform at all or d) cost you business and give you a bad name and reputation.  Qualifying people you are going to work with is worth its weight in gold.  It takes extra time, but you can't afford NOT to do this.

If your business relies on cold calls, referrals, instant messenger communications, etc. you know the importance of properly qualifying prospects. You learn about your prospect and their needs and determine how your product can meet those needs.

MLM Lead Generation - Get What You Want

MLM Lead Generation - Get What You Want:

We've recently learned lead generation is the lifeblood of an MLM marketing business, and that without customers, you don't have a business.  We also learned you need to work at lead generation, no matter how you feel about it, because very simply without it, you are dead in the water.  No leads, no team, no business.

Ok, so you're not big on generating leads.  You're shy, you're afraid people will reject you, or you don't like using the phone.  Well, you have to ask yourself some hard questions right about now.  Do you really want your business to grow and generate residual income?  If the answer is YES, then you have to do lead generation.

You'll only get the desired results if you approach it with the right attitude.  You have to want it!  If you don't, it'll show!  That doesn't mean you have to be desperate.  It means you need to be positive and confident.  If you're new to MLM marketing and networking, then fake it till you make it.  The more you do lead generation, the better you'll get at it.

To be positive and confident you have to:

* Be proactive in your lead generation duties
* Learn new skills that stretch beyond your comfort zones
* Be patient and persistent
* Understand who is your client
* Be willing to choose the right type of clients for you
* Make the first move, don't wait
* Be creative in your approach
* Be prepared to listen to find out what your client needs and wants
* Be prepared to follow up with your contacts

If you want a positive team, then you have to be a positive Leader.  If you can't find it within yourself to step up to the plate and take action each day, then your team won't either.

Successful Internet Marketing With Article Writing

Successful Internet Marketing With Article Writing:

Article marketing is an excellent means for successful internet marketing, as long as you know how to turn the article writing process into a successful article marketing campaign. Article marketing is about more than simply article writing, but also has to do with implementing the right keywords, anchor texts, calls to action, resource box information, links and more. Once you learn how to put a successful article marketing campaign together, however, you will have a successful campaign for internet marketing that will do four very powerful things for you:

1 - It will help you establish yourself as an authority figure on the niche that your website focuses on, by providing valuable, useful, informational and easy to read content on the right subjects. By using the right keywords and implementing information that readers will actually be interested in, people will begin to trust your word as an authority on your niche, which can do excellent things for the traffic that your website generates.

2 - It will allow you to optimize for the right keywords and key phrases by implementing keyword driven content into your articles. By using the right keywords and anchor texts in your article, you can implement SEO techniques that will link back to your own website for an increase in search engine optimization.

3 - It will allow you to build powerful one-way links from popular article submission websites, guaranteeing you a better chance of seeing action from search engines like Google and Yahoo. One way links are the most powerful, especially when they are coming directly from popular sources like article submission sites with a 6 page rank, which is one of the highest possible page ranks that a website can obtain.

4 - It will create new avenues for potential visitors to find you, because your submission articles will appear not only in the submission sites where you add them, but all numerous other websites throughout the internet. If you are looking for successful avenues for marketing, one of the best things that you can do is launch a powerful article marketing campaign that will allow you to submit valuable, easy to read articles online to generate a startling increase in traffic to your website.

If you are serious about increasing your capabilities when it comes to increasing traffic, bringing new opt in signups, generating ad sense revenue, generating affiliate product revenue or selling your own products, then an article writing and submission or article marketing campaign is one of the best things that you can do.

No internet marketing campaign is complete without some article writing. While you can place articles on your own website for some success, the best way to generate traffic success with article writing is through a well planned, well written article marketing campaign. This is one of the best and most efficient ways to drive new traffic to your website so that you may sell products, generate opt in sign ups and earn ad revenue.
